Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week has announced the full plan for the ADSW Summit 2026, a major global event that will focus on changing the way the world’s systems work together to build a better and greener future.
The ADSW Summit 2026 will be held on January 13 and 14 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The theme for this year is “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go”. The summit aims to bring together leaders from governments, businesses, investors, and new technology companies to take real action on sustainability.
The summit is the main event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026. It will feature more than 100 speakers and over 30 sessions. These sessions will talk about important global topics such as clean energy systems, food and water safety, protecting nature, and how artificial intelligence and new technologies are changing the world.
The program will include keynote speeches, group talks, and small discussion sessions. These will help leaders from energy, business, and technology fields share ideas, find solutions, and build strong partnerships for the future.
Each day will also include a special leadership session. During these sessions, global leaders will discuss the biggest challenges and chances in sustainable development. Details about heads of state and government leaders attending the event will be announced later.
Many well-known global figures are confirmed to speak at the ADSW Summit 2026. They include senior government officials, business leaders, energy experts, investors, authors, and global advocates. These speakers will share their experiences and ideas on how the world can move faster toward sustainability.
Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, said the world is facing rising energy needs, fast changes in technology, and growing uncertainty. He explained that systems such as energy, finance, nature, trade, and technology must work together to create real and lasting results. He added that the ADSW Summit will bring leaders together to help build a stronger, fairer, and more successful future for everyone.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 will be hosted by Masdar and is expected to be the biggest edition so far. The event aims to set a new global standard for cooperation and real impact. Last year, ADSW attracted more than 50,000 participants from over 170 countries, including 13 heads of state and senior government officials.
The wider ADSW 2026 program will include many other important events. These include the IRENA Assembly on January 11 and 12, the ADSW Opening Ceremony on January 13, the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards on January 13, ADSW Dialogues from January 13 to 15, the World Future Energy Summit from January 13 to 15, and youth-focused events such as the Youth 4 Sustainability Forum.
