AccessAbilities Expo 2026 to showcase new assistive technology in Dubai
DUBAI: The 8th AccessAbilities Expo 2026 will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from October 19 to 21 under the theme “Integrating Communities… Enabling Lives.”
The event will showcase the latest assistive technologies and inclusive solutions for People of Determination. It is considered the largest event of its kind in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
The Expo will bring together government bodies, technology companies, health care providers, schools and international organizations to share ideas and present new tools that support accessibility and independent living.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Patron of AccessAbilities Expo, said the event helps improve the quality of life of People of Determination and supports their full participation in society.
Organizers said new technologies, including artificial intelligence, smart glasses, speech recognition tools, mobility devices and advanced prosthetic limbs, are helping people live with more confidence and independence.
The global assistive technology market is expected to grow from $30.5 billion in 2026 to about $65.2 billion by 2034, with strong demand also seen across the region.
According to the World Health Organization, many people with disabilities around the world still cannot access the assistive technology they need because of high costs or limited availability.
AccessAbilities Expo 2026 aims to help close this gap by connecting experts, companies and communities, while supporting Dubai’s goal of becoming a more inclusive and accessible city.
