Abu Dhabi Police Offer 35% Traffic Fine Discounts
Drivers in Abu Dhabi can now benefit from significant discounts on traffic fines by settling them within specified timeframes. The Abu Dhabi Police recently announced the “Bader wa Istafed” initiative, offering a 35% reduction on fines paid within 60 days of the violation.
This initiative provides a substantial incentive for prompt payment. It’s important to note that serious violations are excluded from the 35% discount. Even after the initial 60-day window, a 25% discount remains applicable for an additional year after the violation is issued (excluding serious violations).
The Abu Dhabi Police have made the payment process as convenient as possible. Fines can be settled through various channels:

- These digital platforms allow for zero-interest installments spread over one year.
Zero-Interest Installment Options
For those who prefer, installments can also be arranged through banks using credit cards issued by banks partnered with the Abu Dhabi Police General Command. These installments come with zero interest and a 12-month repayment period.
