Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025 (ADIBS) continued to impress visitors on its second day. The show, held at ADNEC Marina Hall until November 23, welcomed boat lovers, families, and industry experts from around the world. It is one of the biggest marine events in the region and a major meeting point for the global boating community.

This year, the show is shining a spotlight on new companies and young inventors. Yachting Ventures returned with its popular Innovation Zone, where visitors can discover fresh ideas in clean technology, digital tools, artificial intelligence, water sports, marina systems, and other smart marine solutions.

Experts also took part in Knowledge Box sessions, where they explained new trends, eco-friendly solutions, and how technology is changing the world of boats and water activities. These talks showed how innovation is helping the marine industry grow, protect the environment, and improve the experience for everyone who loves the sea.

One of the special talks, titled “Tech to Expect From Leisure Marine Startups Over the Next 10 Years,” brought together five experts. They discussed how new technologies will shape leisure boats in the future. They explained that the world is moving toward cleaner and greener boats, including electric engines and new designs that glide smoothly over water.

The speakers noted that while boats are slower to adopt new technology compared to cars, big changes are coming fast. Digital design, self-driving systems, and easier upgrades are helping new boat makers enter the market more quickly.

Another important topic was the future of safety, water quality checks, and using data to support sustainability. Experts also talked about how technology is creating new water sports and fun advertising experiences for fans.

Dr. Giulia De Masi from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi gave a session about how artificial intelligence is making the marine world more sustainable. She explained how AI can improve weather predictions, ocean wave forecasting, and help monitor sea life. She also spoke about underwater robots and new smart tools that help scientists study the ocean in real time.

She shared the SeaQuery project, a special AI system that helps monitor underwater ecosystems using both images and language. She also highlighted future technologies like swarm robots, AI-powered decision making, and advanced satellite connections for marine vehicles.

The second day of ADIBS showed strong attendance, with many brands and visitors joining the event. The lively atmosphere proved Abu Dhabi’s growing importance in the global boating world.

With exciting product launches, expert discussions, and the latest marine technologies, ADIBS continues to support Abu Dhabi’s goal of building a strong, smart, and sustainable marine sector. The city is becoming a leading global hub for marine business, innovation, and investment.

ADIBS invites professionals, families, and marine enthusiasts to enjoy two more days of new inventions, learning sessions, hands-on activities, and weekend entertainment. The show continues to celebrate Abu Dhabi’s bright and innovative maritime future.
