Abu Dhabi Government Ramadan Majlis 2026 brings leaders and families together at Qasr Al Hosn

ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the Abu Dhabi Government’s Ramadan Majlis, called Barzat Abu Dhabi, at Qasr Al Hosn.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office organised the event. It takes place from February 21 to 26, 2026. The majlis brings together government leaders, employees, and their families during the holy month of Ramadan.
Sheikh Mansour, Vice President of the UAE and Deputy Prime Minister, greeted guests and shared Ramadan wishes. He prayed for peace, success, and happiness for the UAE, its leaders, citizens, and residents.
He said Ramadan majlis gatherings help people feel closer. They give everyone a chance to talk and share ideas. He said Barzat Abu Dhabi shows the spirit of one big family. This is special because the UAE named 2026 the Year of Family.
Sheikh Mansour said Ramadan teaches kindness, giving, and unity. These values build a strong work culture. They encourage teamwork and support. He said teamwork helps the UAE move forward and grow.
Sheikh Khaled, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, also met guests and families. He said Barzat Abu Dhabi follows the UAE’s long Ramadan majlis tradition.
He said the Abu Dhabi Government wants a positive work environment. It aims to balance work and family life. It also seeks to improve the quality and speed of government services.
Sheikh Khaled said holding the event during the Year of Family shows the leadership’s vision. Strong families build a strong society. Strong families also support strong institutions. He said unity helps the nation achieve more success.
Barzat Abu Dhabi connects different government departments. It strengthens teamwork and cooperation. It also supports better performance across government entities.
Families joined many cultural and fun activities. Organisers arranged handicraft workshops and art shows. Musicians performed live heritage music. These activities celebrate Emirati culture. They also help children learn about their national identity.
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan attended the majlis. Several ministers and senior Abu Dhabi Government officials also joined the gathering.
