The tournament will have four age groups: Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, and Adults. The first rounds will happen tomorrow, and the finals with medal winners will take place the next day.

Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, from the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said the Vice President’s Jiu-Jitsu Cup is very important for the sport in the country. It helps young athletes improve their skills and pushes clubs to perform better, making Jiu-Jitsu stronger in the UAE.

Zayed Al Kaabi, Head Coach of Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club, said his team has big dreams this year. Last year, Al Ain won the Under-14 and Under-18 categories, which gave the team great confidence to aim for more victories this time.

Last year’s championship saw tough matches between top clubs. Al Ain took home the Under-14 and Under-18 titles, while Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club won the Under-16 title. Al Wahda Club kept its crown in the Adults division, staying ahead of Al Ain and Baniyas.
