34th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair Opens with Excitement

Abu Dhabi: The 34th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) has opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The fair runs until 5th May 2025.

Organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, this year’s theme is “Knowledge Illuminates Our Community.” Over 1,400 exhibitors from 96 countries are taking part, sharing books, ideas, and cultures. The event features around 2,000 activities for readers, writers, and content creators, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s role as a global center for culture and creativity.

Special highlights this year include a celebration of Ibn Sina and his famous book “The Canon of Medicine,” the honoring of “One Thousand and One Nights,” and a focus on the Culture of the Caribbean Basin as the Guest of Honour. The fair continues to bring people together from around the world to share knowledge and make new connections.
