ABU DHABI: More than 300,000 Chinese residents have made the UAE their home. This growing community shows how the UAE welcomes different cultures and gives everyone a chance to grow and succeed.
Chinese people in the UAE are not just living here — they are part of society. They work in many important areas like trade, education, shipping, hotels, and online shopping. They benefit from the UAE’s modern roads, airports, ports, and easy business rules.
Cheng Fu Qiang, the President of the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in the UAE, says the country offers a safe and clear place for investment. Many Chinese companies have grown in hotels, hotel supplies, and e-commerce. He says that free zones, fast business licenses, and modern laws help businesses succeed.
Wei Lu Xin, who leads the Chinese Language Institute in the Middle East, says the UAE is open and respects all cultures. He also sees more Emirati families learning the Chinese language, which helps build friendship and cultural understanding between both countries.
Chen Zhi Xiang, Honorary President of the Fujian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE, says the UAE is special because it is open for business while also staying united and peaceful. After living here for over 20 years, he says he feels trusted, respected, and treated equally.
The UAE also supports Chinese culture through events held with the Chinese Embassy and Consulate. These celebrations show the country’s commitment to diversity and living together in harmony.
Every year, on November 16, people mark the International Day for Tolerance. On this day, the UAE proudly shows its leading role in building a society where everyone is respected, no matter where they come from.
