Abu Dhabi: The UAE is now home to almost 1,300 Korean companies, showing a strong 16% increase compared to last year, according to Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism.

The announcement came during a meeting in Abu Dhabi between the minister and a business delegation from South Korea led by Yoon Jin-sik, Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). The delegation included 25 Korean companies working in fields like technology, healthcare, energy, investments, artificial intelligence, and electric vehicles.

Minister Al Marri said the UAE has become an important economic partner for South Korea and serves as a major hub for Korean exports to the Middle East and North Africa. He also highlighted that the UAE’s strong business environment and attractive investment opportunities continue to bring more Korean companies into the country.

This growth reflects the expanding economic ties and partnership between the UAE and South Korea.
