Makkah, February 5, 2025 – The 10th International Holy Quran Competition for Military Personnel is currently taking place in Makkah, bringing together 179 contestants from 32 countries. The event is organized by the General Administration for Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces and is one of the largest of its kind.
A Global Quranic Event
Maj. Gen. Dr. Misfer Al-Issa, Director-General of the General Administration of Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces and Supervisor-General of the competition, emphasized that this year’s event has the highest number of participants and represents a wide international presence.
During the judging sessions, contestants have been demonstrating their expertise in memorizing, perfecting, and reciting the Holy Quran, showcasing their dedication and skill.
